Hi Angry_Cuban13, I’m glad you are doing well.

Thanks for quick reply. I would like to reply to your answer. If you don’t mind I’ll list my thoughts, I believe it makes communication easier.

So here we go:

-          On the very beginning I want to say that I’m very upset that you didn’t refer to the other four bullet points. Ban report breaks 3 points in your own Statute and an International Law. Let’s analyze it again. Statute says ‘In order for a player ban to be made by BF4DB, the following conditions must be met’ after few paragraphs we can read: ‘All video evidence should be a minimum of one minute in length although two minutes is preferred to show the context of the video.’ followed by ‘Videos that are incomplete, muted, edited, modified, or not the original upload may not be used.’ Weird thing, but none of the provided evidence obey this lines. Based on it  I assume that report was invalid, or even illegal if we consider publishing sensitive data. This itself means that whole report is unlawful and ought to be at least reconsidered.

-          You used words ‘You were trying to use the glitch as an unfair advantage’. Your statute says that you will ban only for Game-Breakers: ‘Glitches considered to be "game-breaking" will result in a ban if proven to be used maliciously’. You can trust me, killing 4 people in 30 minutes on 1000 ticket server, is not really ‘an unfair advantage’. We can do some maths. It gives us 1 kill for every 7 minutes and 30 seconds. I can assure you that score like that is equivalent to using ‘repair tool’ as your primary weapon and cannot be considered as ‘Game-Breaking’. It is almost impossible to meet Battlefield player with such terrible kill per minute ratio. Moreover, my average K/D ratio on this particular server fluctuates around 3,5. Does it mean that it would have been more unfair if I played normally?

Again, many thanks for your quick reply and I’m looking forward to our next conversation.

Have a great evening buddy!

Regards, Paul.

Ban Appeal 4 years ago

Soldier Name: GibRF

Link To BF4DB Soldier Profile: https://bf4db.com/player/1632142376

Have You Claimed Your Soldier: Yes

Appeal:

Hi. I divided my appeal into sections just to make it more friendly. Hope it would save some of your valuable time.

1. Background

I have got banned recently due to hacking accusations. Unfortunately, report had been hidden, because it exposed my IP and guides (many thanks to @GoodFood2K16 for caring about privacy and protection of personal data), so I cannot include content of the post I’m referring to.

However, whole thing refers to the fact that I was a passenger of a boat driving through land.

I can explain everything pretty well.

2. Apologia

                Explanation:

-          It’s not a hack or cheat, but as I later found out a glitch in the game. Maybe if I knew about it back then whole affair wouldn’t even happen. I randomly spawned on that boat and then stayed out of sheer curiosity, because I’ve never seen something like this before.

-          However what’s done cannot be undone. I can clearly understand why other players weren’t happy about it and I admit I didn’t ought to do it in the first place.

Defence:

-          Included glitch is not ‘game-breaking’. Achieving K/D ratio of 1.(3) with 4 kills and 3 deaths on 1000 tickets server is not really an ‘exploit or abuse’. It’s not game-changing score or something that would make a difference.

-          As mentioned, I was just a passenger what doesn’t make me invisible or invulnerable . I was taking ordinary damage and got killed 3 times in the process.

-          Attached Battlereport shows statistics from another round, where I was just normally playing with anti-air tank, boat and some carbine

Report:

-          Ban report doesn’t meet few requirements. Included video does not have length above 1 minute (‘All video evidence should be a minimum of one minute in length although two minutes is preferred to show the context of the video.’)

-          Moreover, included video is muted (‘Videos that are incomplete, muted, edited, modified, or not the original upload may not be used.)

-          And enclosed video contains my personal IP address and location (last frames). These are sensitive data and according to ‘The European Union General Data Protection Regulation’ mustn’t be published online. Mentioned video was viewed 26 times what after excluding me and administration give us 24 completely random people with access to this information.

Coming to conclusion, I would really like to get unbanned and continue my 1500h Battlefield journey. However I appreciate your effort into improving this game and I’ll respect your decision regardless of the outcome.

Have a great day and stay healthy above all

Regards, Paul
