I think your friend got a Punkbuster ban, and is, if I'm correct, enforced on all games running Punkbuster.

Sehr geehrte(r) Gott-Mit-Uns-12,

der Ban-Appeal wurde nicht "ohne Prüfung oder Anerkennung der Beweislage" abgelehnt. Mit dem betreffenden Account wurde eindeutig gecheatet und daher hat man diesen auch gebannt. Nach den Bannrichtlinien von BF4DB kann der Bann nicht aufgehoben werden, auch wenn dieser Account von Fremden übernommen und so zum Cheaten verwendet wurde.

Doch dass der Account von Fremden übernommen wurde, notiert sich das BF4DB-Team. Das einzige was Sie da jetzt tun können, ist einen neuen Account zu erstellen und eine neue Kopie von Battlefield 4 zu kaufen. (Ohne Beweis eines Fremdzugriffs würde der neue Account direkt von BF4DB als "Linked Account" gebannt werden.)
