Appeal:Hadn't played the game in quite a while so I decided to come back and get into it again. Every single server I try to join lets me join for a couple seconds then instantly kicks or bans me. Finally I get into a rush server that doesn't kick me and I have to ask in chat why the hell I'm getting kicked instantly from all of these servers and get told that this website has decided I was a hacker based on "suspicious stats." So here I am. I've never tried to use cheats, I've never even contemplated it. I've been playing battlefield for almost 15 years and I've never even considered trying to cheat. And frankly I find it a little bit ridiculous that some BF4 vigilantes go around looking for any half-decent player with half-decent stats and decides they're a hacker without any input from the actual player like a kangaroo court. I humbly request an unban so I can play the game I paid for.
As a side note, I remember my in-game name being TheFirstCasualty with caps instead of what it is now. I don't know if that has anything to do with this but I thought I'd mention it.

I can honestly say I have no clue who that is or how they're related to me. After looking at his profile the only thing I can see is he was banned around the same time I was last year by the same guy.Who is this?

So after looking at my soldier profile a little more, and looking at the cheat report on my soldier's page, I'm starting to suspect more and more something weird is up. After going through some of my battle reports I noticed that I had multiple small games spanning across multiple dates with the same group of players. It said it was 11 months ago so my memory might not be great but I don't remember doing anything like that. For me though it's particularly suspicious because I typically was a solo player most of the time. There were a few instances where I played with some friends but I don't recall ever having the same group of players that I played with over multiple dates. That just wasn't something I did. Especially with how small the games were and that they were conquest large when I almost exclusively played rush. This combined with my name thing and the fact that I thought some of my loadouts were a little different than I thought I left them is a little sketchy to me. Y'all would know more about this than I would so just trying to give some background.

Using my keen perceptive abilities I assume you're going to tell me that my account was hacked from some blowhard in Germany. Because after looking into it myself that's sort of what I found. I'm not 100% sure but that's how I'm leaning.
Over this time where it seems my account might have been hacked I seemed to have played quite a few games with these gentlemen.

The first one was online on my friends list in origin and I asked him who the hell he was and if he had any information but didn't get a response. He also had the first guy you asked me about (https://bf4db.com/player/1758237296) in his friends list on Battlelog. I don't know if these guys are automatically guilty just by association but maybe look into it. They might be innocent and completely oblivious or in a similar situation as me.
If I say pretty please and promise to donate to my local charity would you spare my account oh powerful one? I know y'alls policy on that but if it so happens that my account was hacked, I don't think cheats were ever actually used. I think that if anything a couple of idiots were just going into empty servers and fucking around. But I don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks regardless.

Based on our research and available data it does look like your account was used by someone other than you. It was also used to cheat.
Per our policy, we will not lift the ban on this account. We will, however, change the ban reason to "Hacked Account" so any new accounts you start playing under do not get banned under our linked account ban policy.
