after sometime of playing bf4 everything was going fun but for now for I think 2 months or something I'm being kicked from punk buster, I've updated it, I've installed it over and over again, I made sure it was allowed in the firewall and still nothing works, I made sure its running in services and still nothing it working
would reinstalling windows fix this problem or is it a punkbuster problem.
I really need help to fix this annoying issue

My account is banned?!!
the only things I have running when playing bf4 is discord, Spotify, and my monitor cross hair feature cause I have trouble seeing the default cross hair
is there anything I can do?
and I’m guessing if I make a new account I’ll get banned by db? Or pb?
cause I know I never cheated at all, would I have been banned for stats or something?

You can try to join a server over the web launcher (battlelog) which gives you more info if it is just a kick, or a perma ban.If its a perma ban (global EvenBalance), your account is toast and you may want to purchase a new copy of the game.As far as i can see, you are not banned by an anticheat, which enforces linked account bans.PB violations are not stat based, it scans your PC for suspicious software and if it thinks it found something, it triggers a violation and issues a kick/ban.
Also as a sidenote: using a crosshair overlay is only allowed in modes that natively offer you a crosshair. Using one in HC for example could lead to a ban on 4DB and BA.

Okay well I won’t use the crosshair, can I ask why using a cross hair that’s built into my monitor not allowed even if my eyes can barely see the normal one
is reshader allowed then?? I know a lot of people use reshader to make the game look sharper and all that but is it really allowed since it doesn’t benefit your skill just helps you see better??
Also if I do buy another copy of bf4 will I be banned from bf4db?
Cause I wanna play again but if I’m banned for false flag, then I don’t wanna waste money of I’ll be banned from bf4db yk

As i said, its only bannable if you use it in game modes that disabled the ingame crosshair, since you gain an advantage over other playeres. Reshader is a gray area, its not straight up bannable, but if you give yourself an advantage by removing textures, or making enemies more visible, you enter the realm of bannable offens. Its basically fuck arround and find out.Since you are not banned by BF4DB or BA, your new account wont get banned by BF4DB or BA. You just have to create a new EA account an purchase a new copy of the game. One of my accounts got bs banned by PB as well.| 4 weeks ago -
