I reinstalled the game after not playing it in ages, and was very surprised to see I was being kicked from every server! I can see from my battlelog profile that my stats with the Aug and the RFB are suspicious, and saw on this website that I was apparently banned in 2018 (news to me). I don't think I was playing the game in 2018, so my account must have been hacked for cheating purposes. I certainly don't remember using the Aug or RFB much at all! I've now enabled 2FA with BF4DB (just signed up today), so hopefully it won't happen again!

I really hate cheating as I see no purpose in it (I couldn't care less about K/D etc,), I'm in my 30s (!) and just want to try getting back into an old game with some friends.

If you are appealing for a possible hacked account, can you please tell me where you are from geographically and who your internet service provider is?

I'm from the UK, and my internet provider is Virgin Media.
