    Appeal:

Hello, I have been banned on the 19/06/2020 based on a proof from neonardo1 for using a 3rd party program to put a crosshair into my game.

Let me introduce you into the issue at first. As I am an older person (closing to 53 y.o. - FB as a proof https://www.facebook.com/fefiCZ) my eyesight is not what it used to be. I started having problems with long time playing. So I asked my friend to help me with the blurry Battlefield 4. We installed a 3rd party program called ReShade to make my game sharper using LumaSharpen. During the first few games I played with the program installed, there was, unfortunately, also installed a crosshair overlay. After I stopped playing I had a consultation with the friend who had installed the program for me and we uninstalled the program as a whole as it did not help me at all quite on the contrary it was distracting. I have not been using the program ever since.

I have been a long term Battlefield player (ever since BF3). On Battlefield 4 in particular I have over 4.500 hours and I have never had any need to use any 3rd party program and as far as I know I have never been banned for using any forbidden programs.

I am a part of a very active clan in the Czech Republic. I have been organising local and also international matches, which you can assure yourself of from my YT channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/kocour1967/videos). You can also see there that I have not been using any external programs.

I feel very sorry about this situation that was cause by my lack of knowledge.

I hope that you will understand this and lift my ban.

    Best regards

P.S.: This appeal was translated by my English speaking friend as I am a person who does not speak or understand English

Reshade might be considered "safe" by EA, Punkbuster but putting an overlay crosshair on your game is an unfair advantage. Although I was the banning admin and normally I shoudn't make a decision on your ban, the proof is clear and nobody else will make a different decision.

    Appeal Denied.
